Don Margulis has been photographing the Carolinas and New England for over 40 years offering his work through galleries, gift shops and arts and craft fairs along the east coast. Many of his images have a “painterly” look which was the inspiration for the theme of this website.
He is the former owner of “Quiet Moments Photo Gallery” in Southern Pines, North Carolina and “A Way of Seeing Photo Gallery” In Rocky Neck, Massachusetts.
Currently his work is available via the “Artisans of St. James” outdoor events in St. James, North Carolina, “Seaside Framing and Gallery” in Oak Island, North Carolina, and Fine Art America online.
His photographs feature a variety of subjects, often capturing reflective moments that offer a calming contrast to the often busy and stressful pace of everyday life.
Don’s interest in innovative technology has led him to explore opportunities to display his work and that of others in 3D virtual galleries which simulate the experience of visiting a real physical art gallery and potentially interacting with others present in the gallery.
